Dr. Stout’s surgery center makes for a private and discreet experience, as well as a safe and comfortable environment.
Aside from the convenience that onsite care provides, patients often feel more at ease when choosing a procedure at our facility than at a hospital, as they are familiar with the same staff and environment after their initial consultation.
Each surgery is performed under the careful attention of an Anesthesiologist certified by the American Board of Anesthesiology and handpicked by Dr. Stout. When performing laser eyelid surgery, Dr. Stout does not use general anesthesia. Rather, he uses Local Monitored Anesthetic Care (LMAC), a local anesthesia with an intravenous sedation, placing patients in a “twilight sleep.” In other words, patients are given just enough anesthesia to be comfortable and have a pleasant experience, but are not overly sedated.
